Job Description
Seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support the definition, development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise systems and infrastructure solutions. This role is responsible for developing and enhancing complex systems, supporting production environments, and helping drive automation, scalability, and deployment efficiency across large-scale platforms. The ideal candidate brings strong scripting and automation experience, a solid understanding of DevOps methodologies, and the ability to work in complex enterprise environments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design, develop, implement, and support complex DevOps and infrastructure solutions.
• Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation processes.
• Support production systems, troubleshoot issues, and drive root cause resolution.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Shell scripting, and YAML-based configurations.
• Work within Agile development environments and collaborate with cross-functional technical teams.
• Support containerization and infrastructure-as-code initiatives using tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Assist with system scalability, deployment optimization, and release management across enterprise environments.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on major system enhancement and feasibility efforts.
• Support multi-regional development and release cadences in large-scale repository environments.
QUALIFICATIONS
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 8 years of experience in DevOps, Systems Engineering, or related technical roles.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps best practices.
• Hands-on experience with:
o GitLab pipelines
o Python scripting
o Shell scripting
o Linux navigation and command-line operations
o Containerization technologies
o YAML configuration files
o Terraform
o Ansible
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with UrbanCode Build/Deploy.
• Experience supporting multi-regional development and release cadences.
• API integration and usage experience.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow.
• Mainframe experience.
• Troubleshooting experience across mainframe, Java, container, SQL, and Pega environments.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments with 3,000+ repositories.
• Understanding of scalability impacts in highly complex systems.
• Mid-level engineering experience within a large enterprise environment.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are essential.
• Experience supporting highly complex production systems preferred.
REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY:
• This position is fully remote; however, candidates must permanently reside in the United States to be eligible.
• All work must be conducted within the continental U.S.
