Job Description

The Industry and Security Analysis Group (ISAG) supports a broad array of clients in the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (OUSD) for Acquisition and Sustainment (A&S), and OUSD for Research and Engineering (R&E) on cyber, space, nuclear, intelligence and acquisition efforts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• The International Engagement Specialist will support the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Industrial Base Policy (ASD (IBP)) to ensure a healthy Defense Industrial Base is able to meet Warfighter needs.
• The International Engagement Specialist will help advance Department of Defense objectives with allies and international partners.
• The candidate will plan and execute ASD (IBP) outreach and dialogue with international stakeholders and departmental and interagency partners to improve collaboration, communication, and security of supply for materials critical to national defense.
• Specific actions include developing, coordinating and implementing international engagement plans to promote and protect critical technology.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Active Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, Master’s degree preferred.
• 8 years of experience supporting senior DoD leadership with understanding of the Office of the Secretary of Defense and how the Defense Industrial Base supports the Warfighter.
• 5 years of experience conducting outreach, engagement, or strategic communication activities involving foreign nations.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal); experience researching complex policy topics on short notice, and developing read aheads and talking points for senior leaders.
• DoD Major Staff (OSD, Joint Staff, Senior Service Staff) experience, preferred.
