Job Description

Seeking management level health care professional to manage and coordinate the daily operations of the Patient Access areas to ensure successful completion of all organizational objectives. Ideal candidate will have in depth understanding of hospital setting and staffing needs for Patient Access roles.
• Perform all steps necessary relative to hiring, evaluating, coaching, promoting, disciplining and discharging employees by following established HR policies.
• Manage staff and functions of respective areas and monitors staff productivity.
• Oversee the training, development and continuing education for all staff.
• Act as a resource/liaison to other hospital departments to resolve issues related to patient access services.
• Assure compliance with Federal and State regulations and JC standards.
• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, required. Majoring in healthcare related field, preferred.
• 5-7 years experience in a healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite of software.
• Prior supervisory experience strongly preferred.
