Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide engineering support to undersea platform acquisition activities, with a focus on submarine construction and component readiness.
• Directly support client teams in the development and analysis of program schedules, risk analysis and cost engineering primarily supporting the Columbia SSBN Program and the Common Missile Compartment, and integration with the D5 missile.
• Assist in developing the design requirements for the SSN of the future.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Current DoD Security Clearance - minimum Secret, with the ability to maintain it throughout employment
• Bachelor's Degree in technical, engineering or management field
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel to analyze and represent data for engineering or project management efforts
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office, including Word and PowerPoint, to communicate to decision makers
• Experience working on submarine or undersea related programs
• Experience with Defense Acquisition System DoD 5000 series, Navy or DoD program planning, and/or experience with and knowledgeable of the Navy requirements and program office organizations and processes
• Experience with manpower and training analysis
