Job Description

SUMMARY
This job provides new and existing customers with the best possible service in relation to billing inquiries, service requests, suggestions, and complaints.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assists the department in meeting quality and production standards.
• Responds to members, providers, group administrators and producers in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring acceptable service levels, metrics and/or performance guarantees are achieved.
• Responds to members, providers, group administrators and producers in an accurate and timely manner.
• Manage multiple production-oriented tasks and responsibilities.
• Ensures acceptable service levels, metrics and/or performance guarantees are achieved.
• Other duties as assigned or requested.

QUALIFICATIONS
• 5-10 years of related, progressive Customer Service experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer applications and apply their use while on the phone
• Experience within the Healthcare Field, preferred
• Experience with insurance, benefits, and claims, preferred
• Experience with medical or health terminology, a plus
