Job Description

Scope of Role: As Strategic Market Manager, you will act as an air moving market and application specialist for sustained growth, competitiveness, and profitability. In this role, you will be involved with market research and analysis, identifying customer and market trends, creating application-based marketing strategies and campaigns and identifying new product development opportunities while working with a cross-functional team that includes sales, product management, marketing, operations, new product development, and engineering.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Develop deep customer and market knowledge through market, competitor, and VOC research to inform and enhance the commercial strategy
- Communicate Company’s view of market / segment trends, evolution, competition, opportunity, and attractiveness and drive understanding of where & how company can compete, and what success looks like for each of Company’s addressable markets
- Work with Marketing Coordinator and 3rd party agencies to create innovative, focused market and application campaigns
- Defines/updates SWOT, TAM, SAM, and SOM analysis for each market
- Increase lead generation by owning all sales & marketing toolsets such as lead distribution applications, CRM, and SEO
- Support sales with the necessary market & application knowledge
- Develop and maintain an active pipeline of target leads for the Regional Sales Managers using the CRM tool
- Perform other assignments as directed by the Business Line Director
- Travel up to 25%

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS OR EQUIVALENCIES:
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, business, engineering discipline, or technical degree
- 5+ years’ experience in marketing, strategy, business development, or sales, preferred
- Experience working in new market segments and air moving products preferred
- Proficiency in CRM, marketing automation, programmatic advertising, website analytics
- Solid proficiency with Microsoft Office software – particularly Excel and PowerPoint
