Job Description

As a Pega Developer, you will design, develop, and support enterprise applications that improve business processes and enhance the user experience. Working as part of a collaborative technology team, you will help deliver scalable solutions while supporting the full software development lifecycle.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design, develop, configure, and maintain applications using the Pega platform.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and implement workflows, case management solutions, business rules, integrations, and user interfaces within Pega.
• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues while ensuring system stability and performance.
• Perform unit testing and support integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
• Maintain technical documentation and ensure solutions align with development standards and best practices.
• Support production environments by identifying and resolving defects in a timely manner.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and Pega platform enhancements to recommend innovative solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• Two or more years of experience developing, testing, implementing, or supporting enterprise software applications.
• Experience with software development principles, object-oriented programming, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Willingness to participate in production support, on-call rotations, and scheduled release activities as needed.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience developing applications using Pega Platform, Pega Cloud, or Pega Customer Decision Hub (formerly Pega Decision Management).
• Experience designing workflows, case management, business process automation, or low-code application development.
• Knowledge of system integrations using REST, SOAP, APIs, or messaging technologies.
• Experience working with relational databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale applications in a production environment.
Preferred Certifications
• Pega Certified System Architect (PCSA)
• Pega Certified Senior System Architect (PCSSA)
• Other current Pega certifications are a plus.
