John Walsh to Receive Bender Consulting Services Technology Champion Award

Bender Consulting Services is proud to announce that it will present their second Technology Champion Award to John Walsh III on October 10th in Washington, DC. The Inaugural Award was received by Michael “Mick” Malec, CEO of enGen, a subsidiary of Highmark Health, in 2023. This award is reserved for leaders who demonstrate an outstanding commitment to advancing competitive employment for people with disabilities within the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) career fields.

John is the Founder and CEO of Red Summit Global, LLC, a board and board services advisory firm helping companies modernize governance, optimize delivery of products and offerings, and digitize their organization to differentiate. From Fortune 500 companies to venture capital/private equity/angel investor technology start-ups, John has helped transform companies enabling accelerated sales growth, profitability improvement, and technology enablement.

In his role as CEO of Red Summit Global, John has demonstrated a commitment to harnessing the power of technology to support members of the disability community across the country and around the globe, including in the Americas, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia. John is currently a Board Member or Advisor to a select group of technology start-ups with a focus in artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analytics, hyper automated SaaS offerings, and cybersecurity.

As part of his leadership in the disability community, and in using his vast experience and skill sets in the technology sector, John serves on the Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and as Treasurer of the American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD). John also serves on the Board of Advisors at the Bender Leadership Academy, a non-profit organization founded by Joyce Bender, CEO of Bender Consulting Services in 2018, to increase long-term competitive employment for youth with disabilities.
