Have you registered for the Susan M. Daniels Disability Mentoring Hall of Fame Class of 2021 Induction Ceremony on Wednesday, March 30th?
The Disability Mentoring Hall of Fame was established on the 25th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Named after Susan M. Daniels, disability advocate, policy maker, and devoted mentor, inductees are selected for their demonstrated commitment to mentoring and for their impact on improving the lives of people with disabilities.
Our CEO, Joyce Bender, was among the initial 25 inductees in the Class of 2015. This class included disability leaders such as Tony Coelho, Judith Heumann, and I. King Jordan. Mary was so excited to be inducted the following year, as a part of the Class of 2016.
Join us on March 30th to honor Mary and hear remarks by Tony Coelho, author of the Americans with Disabilities Act, and Joyce Bender.
