Job Description

Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, the HR Business Partner (HRBP) plays a strategic role in aligning human resources practices with business objectives to drive organizational success. With a foundation in Talent Acquisition and Recruitment, this role is responsible for providing HR guidance to business leaders, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring the effective implementation of HR initiatives supporting our Facilities Engineering Operations & Maintenance (FEO&M) services to support our people who are made up of professional, technical, and executive backgrounds. You will support a Strategic Business Unit (SBU) in the commercial, mechanical services, Plumbing and HVAC industries. Additionally, you will support our many Program in the GOVCON (Government Contracting) sector requiring U.S. Security Clearances that can reach T/S w/Poly. Additionally, the HRBP must have expertise in talent acquisition, playing a key role in workforce planning and recruiting strategies.
Responsibilities
• Partner with business leaders to align with corporate HR and implement HR strategies.
• Act as a trusted advisor on talent management, talent acquisition, workforce planning, and employee relations.
• Support the Field Engineering Operations & Maintenance (FEO&M) Strategic Business Unit (SBU) in the commercial, mechanical services, Plumbing and HVAC industries. Additionally, you will support our many Programs in the GOVCON (Government Contracting) sector requiring U.S. Security Clearances that can reach T/S w/Poly.
• Collaborate with leadership to drive engagement, retention, and implement career development programs.
• Provide guidance and implement annual performance management, coaching managers on best practices.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Partner with corporate HR to implement initiatives, including performance management, promotion processes, succession planning, leadership development, benefit changes and open enrollment.
• Analyze HR metrics and provide data-driven recommendations to improve business performance.
• Support change management efforts to drive business transformation.
• Support recruitment efforts, partnering with hiring managers to develop talent acquisition plans for the business unit and ensure achievement of recruiting goals.
• Provide expertise in talent acquisition, playing a key role in workforce planning and recruiting strategies.
• Assist the Director of Talent Acquisition in overseeing SBU recruiting team.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7+ years of progressive HR experience and talent acquisition, in the engineering, construction, and telecommunications environment.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to align and implement corporate HR.
• Proven experience in talent management, employee relations, talent acquisition, and organizational development.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR data and drive strategic decisions.
• HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) preferred.
