Job Description
Seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with proven success leading complex technology initiatives within larger corporate environments. This role requires formal project management expertise, strong command of Agile and SDLC methodologies, and the ability to influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams. The IT Project Manager will drive projects from initiation through delivery while ensuring quality, alignment, and measurable business value.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead end-to-end IT projects through all phases of the SDLC, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource needs in partnership with business and technical stakeholders.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, financial tracking, and variance reporting.
• Develop, maintain, and deliver project management artifacts such as project plans, RAID logs, communication plans, status reports, and change requests.
• Proactively identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and resource constraints.
• Influence and align cross-functional teams, vendors, and business partners to drive project momentum and secure needed support.
• Communicate project progress, milestones, and escalations to leadership and stakeholders in a clear, structured manner.
• Ensure adherence to organizational project management standards, governance, and compliance requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
• Minimum 3 years of formal IT Project Management experience within a mid-sized or large corporate organization.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and full SDLC processes.
• Demonstrated experience managing project budgets and financial reporting.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams through influence, collaboration, and effective communication.
• Skilled in creating and maintaining project documentation and governance-required artifacts.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or Azure DevOps.
Preferred
• Experience supporting IT initiatives in the healthcare or health insurance sector.
• PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP, or similar project management certifications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a closely related field (or equivalent experience).
REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY:
• This position is fully remote; however, candidates must permanently reside in the United States to be eligible.
• All work must be conducted within the continental U.S.
