Job Description
SAP Basis Administrator will be responsible for configuring, monitoring, and optimizing regulated SAP environments. Work closely with the SAP Basis team, developers, and application teams to support multi-billion-dollar business applications, top priority is preventing service disruption while enabling fast growth of the company. Cross train and support various SAP products, ancillary systems, databases, and related technologies while proactively contributing to strategic SAP projects.
Responsibilities:
• Provide global production support and monitoring of SAP environments, predominantly our North American systems with Pacific Time business hours.
• Use tools such as Solution Manager and HANA Cockpit to manage technical aspects of SAP environments with a focus on system availability and performance.
• Provide support for major SAP projects, upgrades, system refreshes and maintenance.
• Assist SAP developers, application teams and other users in troubleshooting issues.
• Engage with service provider on relevant change requests and supports incidents.
Qualification:
• 5 years of experience in SAP Basis administration in S/4HANA or ECC 6.0, Solman 7.2 and several other NetWeaver 7.5+ applications with ABAP/Java stacks such as BW, PI, CRM, SCM, EWM, GRC, SAP Gateway, BODS, C4C, FSM, and Web Dispatcher, required.
• Experience in database administration, implementation, and troubleshooting, required.
• Experience with Linux/Windows OS and HANA, ASE and/or MaxDB databases, required.
• Experience with Solution Manager 7.2, cloud solutions, and HANA Cockpit, highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent education experience, required.
