Job Description
SUMMARY
Responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures for gas, water, and sanitary lines
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment such as pipes, valves, faucets, sinks, toilets, and water heaters.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine the layout and installation of plumbing systems.
• Collaborate with other team members and contractors to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects.
• Adhere to safety standards and regulations, including wearing proper protective equipment and following established procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable statutes and ordinances
• Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Proven plumbing experience (commercial and residential) with a minimum of 5 years in the plumbing industry.
• Valid plumbing license or certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Outstanding organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
