Position Overview:
Salesforce Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing customized Salesforce solutions that align with business needs. Ideal candidate has experience utilizing Salesforce's suite of tools to create tailored solutions to improve business processes, enhance customer relationship management, and drive operational efficiency. Additionally, the role involves understanding business requirements, designing technical solutions, coding, and maintaining Salesforce systems to meet organizational needs.
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop customized solutions on the Salesforce platform to meet project requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions.
• Implement Apex code, Visualforce pages, and Lightning components.
• Maintain and enhance existing Salesforce applications and integrations with other systems.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce configurations and integrations.
• Document development work, including process flows, data models, and technical specifications.
• Stay updated on Salesforce releases, features, and best practices to continuously enhance our systems.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, preferred.
• Experience as a Salesforce Developer.
• Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and SOQL.
• Experience with Salesforce APIs, REST/SOAP, and integrating third-party systems.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I and/or Certified Salesforce Administrator (preferred); additional certifications (Platform Developer II, App Builder), a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and optimize complex business processes.
• Familiarity developing on other cloud platforms, such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Demonstrated continued personal/professional development
• Active in the Salesforce community
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
Locations:
This position has locations of Pittsburgh, PA; Cleveland, OH; Virginia Beach, VA; Dallas, TX; or Phoenix, AZ. Other locations in the continental US may be available based on organizational need and level of experience of candidate.
